About the role
As a Content Moderator, you will review marketplace listings and user-submitted content against clear quality and safety standards. You will make consistent decisions, document important findings, identify emerging abuse patterns, and work with product and operations teammates to improve the marketplace. The role requires sound judgment, close attention to detail, and care when handling potentially sensitive material.
What you will do
- Review listings and user-submitted content for policy, quality, and safety issues
- Approve, reject, or escalate content using documented moderation guidelines
- Record clear and accurate reasons for moderation decisions
- Identify recurring abuse patterns, scams, and emerging marketplace risks
- Share policy gaps and product feedback with Trust & Safety and product teams
- Handle user information and sensitive content with discretion
What we are looking for
- Strong written communication and careful attention to detail
- Consistent judgment when applying rules to different situations
- Comfort working independently and meeting review-quality targets
- Ability to handle potentially sensitive or upsetting content professionally
- Experience in content moderation, marketplace operations, customer support, or trust and safety is helpful
